Joining Accord

Accord is a membership organization, with most of its members in and around Ithaca, but with a few outside the area. No one ever has to join Accord; our meetings and events are open to the public anyway. But there are benefits to membership.

Join online now with PayPal!

Ready to join or renew? Individual members may join online now. Just pick a division, enter your STARFLEET SCC number and expiration date if you're a STARFLEET member, and click the "PayPal Pay Now" button below. Make sure your PayPal "shipping address" is where you want your USS Accord mailings to go.

Your membership in USS Accord will be automatically renewed by PayPal until you cancel it. Of course you can also still download a USS Accord membership form in PDF format that you can print out and mail with a check or money order, or pay cash at an Accord meeting or event.

Membership Dues

Accord's membership dues are based on a one-year membership period. Membership costs $15 for an individual (active or associate) membership or $20 for a family membership.

Family Memberships

Got more than one fan where you live? Save money by signing up for a family membership! You'll just get one copy of each Accord mailing for everyone in the family to share, but each person gets a personalized membership card.

USS Accord defines a "family" for our purposes as any number of people living at a single mailing address. These people need not be related, married, or otherwise "legally" connected.

Membership has its privileges!

USS Accord members in good standing enjoy a 10% discount at these fine local merchants:

  • Comics for Collectors
  • Mythica Games
Many of our members find that this discount quickly covers the annual cost of membership!

Active? Associate?

Most Accord members are active members. We offer "associate" memberships for members of other STARFLEET chapters who wish to receive Accord mailings but still wish to remain active on their original chapter.

For the most part, this is only relevant if you're a STARFLEET member as well as an Accord member.
